Haverhill District Court Relocation Information

Criminal Department will begin business at Newburyport District Court on Monday, March 27, 2017. Clerk's Office will be on the second floor which is currently the Essex County Juvenile Clerk's Office.

Civil Department will be begin business at the Haverhill City Hall on Monday, April 3, 2017. Clerk's Office will be on the second floor of Haverhill City Hall, Room 214, 4 Summer Street.

All Civil Business including Restraining Orders will be held at Haverhill City Hall. All CMVI Hearings and Probable Cause Hearings will be held at Haverhill City Hall.

Search Warrant Applications will be reviewed at Clerk’s Office at Haverhill City Hall.   

Restraining Orders will be accepted at both Haverhill City Hall location and Newburyport District Court location.

  • You must appear by 8:30 a.m.
  • Report to Lower Level
  • When there is severe weather or a public emergency, please call 978-825-3070 (after 7:00 a.m. on the jury date) for a recorded announcement.

Jurors may park in Haverhill Public Library municipal lot or on the street (not in the courthouse parking lot).

Haverhill City Hall is accessible by the Haverhill line of the MBTA.
