Boston Municipal Court Department
Hosts Law Enforcement Officials from Mexico
The Boston Municipal Court Department recently hosted thirty-seven high-level law enforcement officials from the Secretario de Seguridad Publica (SSP) of Mexico. These officials visited the court under a program sponsored by the Fletcher School of Diplomacy at Tufts University.
The Honorable Robert Ronquillo, First Justice of the East Boston Division and Honorable Tracy-Lee Lyons, Associate Justice addressed the visitors. BMCD Administrative Attorney Michael O'Loughlin, Suffolk County Assistant District Attorney Amy Martin and Attorney Lucinda Rivera made presentations to the delegation regarding the American legal system.
The visitors observed criminal and civil court proceedings while at the Boston Municipal Court Department.
