From Boston & I-93 from North: Follow Storrow Drive East to Leverett Circle at the intersection with McGrath-O'Brien Hwy. (Rt. 28). Go 3/ 4 around rotary onto McGrath-O'Brien Highway (Rt. 28 North) passing the Museum of Science. At intersection with Land Blvd., turn right at lights onto Austin St. and proceed over the Gilmore Bridge. You will pass the Bunker Hill Community College and continue to the traffic lights. At the traffic lights, turn right onto Rutherford Avenue (follow signs toward City Square). Immediately get in left lane. At next traffic lights, turn left and you are in City Square. Courthouse is on your left, on the other side of a park. You will have to circle around the block to reach it.
From North (using Route 1): Take Rte 128 South to Rte 1 South. Proceed over the Tobin Bridge and take the Charlestown exit. Go down exit ramp and turn right onto Rutherford Avenue. Follow the signage to City Square and make your first left onto Chelsea Street. The Courthouse is located to your left, facing onto the park.
From North (using Route 93): I-93 southbound to the Sullivan Square exit. Enter the Sullivan Square rotary and bear right at the Schrafft’s Building onto Main Street. Follow Main Street for approximately 1 mile into City Square. The Courthouse is located on your right.
From South (using Route 93): I-93 northbound through the O’Neill Tunnel and travel over the Zakim-Bunker Hill Bridge. Take Sullivan Square exit (exit 28). At the bottom of the ramp take a right. At the next set of lights, enter the Sullivan Square rotary and bear right at the Schrafft’s Building onto Main Street. Follow Main Street for approximately 1 mile into City Square. The Courthouse is located on your right.
From the West: Follow Storrow Drive East to Leverett Circle at the intersection with McGrath-O’Brien Hwy. Bear left onto McGrath-O’Brien Highway (Rte 28 North), passing the Museum of Science on your left. At intersection with Land Boulevard, turn right at lights and proceed over the Gilmore Bridge. Bunker Hill Community College is on your left. At traffic lights, bear right down onto Rutherford Avenue. Get into the left lane as soon a possible. Follow signage to City Square and turn left onto Chelsea Street. The Courthouse is located to your left, across from the park.

Orange Line to Community College T stop. Walk over the overpass / pedestrian walkway. Cross over Austin Street and walk about 5 minutes along Rutherford Avenue (keeping the roadway to your right). Turn left at the Shell Gas Station. The Courthouse is located directly behind the gas station.
