Land Court Announcement of Interim Amendment
to 1989 Manual of Instructions for the Survey of Lands
and Preparation of Plans

Effective
October 1, 2000, and until further order of this court, Section
P (1) is hereby stricken and the following two paragraphs are inserted
in place thereof:
"(1)
Every plan presented pursuant to these instructions shall be a photographic
fixed line mylar (silver halide with chemical eradication) upon
which is affixed original signatures. Tinting, as required by Section
P(11)(n), shall be applied after the preparation of the fixed line
mylar. Two black or blue prints of the plan along with the negative
(e.g. Accumaster) used to prepare the fixed line mylar must also
be submitted. In addition, if a DXF file, DWG drawing, or some other
computer digital format approved by the Chief Engineer is available,
it should accompany the plan for filing."
A
plan drawn on media previously acceptable to this court and signed
by all necessary parties prior to October 1, 2000, is exempt from
this interim amendment.
