From
Boston: Take the Callahan Tunnel and Route 1A North past
Logan Airport. Continue past the Airport entrance 3.5 miles
to a large rotary (Bell Circle). Bear right at the lights, and
pass Wonderland Dog Track. Go 3/ 4 around the small rotary,
passing the Wonderland T station and continue on Route 1A over
the General Edwards Bridge. Route 1A is now called the Lynnway.
At the 7th traffic light, make a left onto Market Street. (The
Lynn Commuter Rail Station will be on your right.) Stay on Market
Street and at the 3rd traffic light, make a right on Liberty
Street. Travel three blocks and make a left on Washington Street.
At the next set of lights, make a left on Essex Street. Courthouse
is on your left.
From West and Central: Take
the Mass Pike (I-90) East to the end. Take I-93 (Southeast Expressway)
North to the Callahan Tunnel and follow directions from Boston
above.
Alternate Route from West and Central:
Take the closer of the Mass Turnpike (I-90) to Exit 14 (Rt.
128 North) or Route 2 East to Rt. 128 North. Follow Rt. 128
North to exit 44B (Route 129 Lynn/ Swampscott). Go around rotary,
taking the 2nd turnoff (Route 129 East). Follow Route 129 for
about 3.5 miles (road changes from Lynnfield Street to Chestnut
Street) to Western Avenue (Rt. 107). Turn right on Western Avenue
and travel about 0.6 mile to Washington Street. Make a left
onto Washington Street and continue 0.5 mile to Essex Street.
Make a right onto Essex Street. Courthouse is on your left.
From South Shore and Cape Cod:
Take best route to Route 3 North to I-93 North, through Boston,
to Callahan Tunnel and follow directions from Boston above.
