PROBATE AND FAMILY COURT ANNOUNCES REPEAL OF
STANDING ORDER 1-94, ASSIGNMENT OF CASES
TO THE MIDDLESEX SATELLITE SESSIONS

The Probate and Family Court Department announces the repeal of Standing Order
1-94 Assignment of Cases to the Middlesex Satellite Sessions at Concord and Marlborough
as of January 16, 2004. This Standing Order has become obsolete in light of the Middlesex Division of the Probate and Family Court adopting an individual calendar case management system as of January 5, 2004.

Chief Justice Dunphy said, “In order to have the least disruptive transition to the individual calendar case management system, the Middlesex Division will presently continue to hold sessions at both the Marlborough and Concord satellites.” Each of the judges assigned to the Middlesex Division who is a part of the individual calendar system will regularly rotate to each of the satellite sessions. The residents of those areas will be able to schedule their cases at those locations when the judge responsible for the case is sitting there.
