Welcome to the Probate and Family Court official website.The Probate and Family Court has jurisdiction over family matters such as divorce, paternity, child support, custody, visitation, adoption, termination of parental rights, and abuse prevention.  Probate matters include jurisdiction over wills, administrations, guardianships, conservatorships and change of name. The Court also has general equity jurisdiction.
We hope this website will inform you about what we do in our Court and assist you as you access our Court. We are committed to educating the public and helping families and others maneuver our system in an informed way.  Our challenge is to provide timely justice to all persons in a fair, equitable and impartial manner.
