Appealing a sentence.
 
As provided in G.L. c. 211E, § (4), the defendant and the commonwealth have limited rights to appeal a sentence to the appeals court. Provisions of GL c. 278, § 28B for appeal to the appellate division of the superior court do not apply to sentences under the guidelines.
