Six New Chief Probation Officers Are Appointed
The Massachusetts Probation Service has added six new Chief Probation Officers to its ranks, bringing the total number of recently appointed chiefs to 27.
The newest group of Chiefs include Carol Joyce Clark, Essex Juvenile Court; Maureen McEachern, Middlesex Superior Court; Danny Baez, Hampden Juvenile Court; James Butcher, Barnstable District Court; Margaret Oglesby, Hampshire Superior Court: and William Laubenstein, Dedham District Court. Oglesby and Laubenstein will begin work July 29th.
McEachern and Baez served as Acting Chiefs prior to being named to their permanent positions.
“This group of six newly appointed Chief Probation Officers has demonstrated their commitment to the profession, leadership experience, and talent. A Chief Probation Officer is not only a manager but an integral member of each Probation Department and local court,” said Commissioner Edward Dolan.
