AMERICAN FIELD SERVICE STUDENTS VISIT
JOHN ADAMS COURTHOUSE
Appeals Court Justice Mark Green met with twenty-five American Field Service students from Europe and Asia on March 9 at the John Adams Courthouse to learn about the American judicial system and the role of the appellate courts. After explaining the history and organization of the Massachusetts Court System, Justice Green gave the students an opportunity to ask him questions about the judiciary and his experience as a Justice.
Established in 1947, the American Field Service exchange program is an international, non-profit organization that provides intercultural learning experiences. The foreign students live with families and attend American high schools for one year.
