New Housing Court Chief
Justice Steven D. Pierce Takes Oath of Office
Chief
Justice for Administration and Management Robert A. Mulligan
administered the oath of office on January 3, 2006 to
new Housing Court Chief Justice Steven D. Pierce at the
Administrative Office of the Trial Court. Several Chief
Justices of the Trial Court departments and colleagues
of Judge Pierce welcomed him during the brief ceremony.
Chief Justice Pierce succeeds Chief Justice Manuel Kyriakakis,
who retired on January 1, 2006, upon reaching the mandatory
retirement age of seventy for judges.
