Supreme Judicial Court Standing Committee on Pro Bono Legal Services  To Hold Open Meeting on Pro Bono Legal Services for Greater Boston
on January 22


What:

Members of the bar and public will have an opportunity to learn about and discuss successful and innovative approaches to pro bono legal work at an open meeting of the Supreme Judicial Court Standing Committee on Pro Bono Legal Services.  The program will feature both individual speakers and panels explaining some of the many outstanding pro bono efforts of lawyers practicing in Greater Boston.  Participants will also identify existing opportunities for service in an open discussion period.  Supreme Judicial Court Justice Francis X. Spina and Attorney Mary Ryan, Committee Chair, of Nutter, McClennen & Fish LLP will provide introductory remarks.  The meeting was organized by Attorney William Wise, a Committee member who is Corporate Counsel at Analog Devices, Inc.  Similar meetings have been held in Barnstable, Bristol, and Worcester counties.
