EAST BROOKFIELD DISTRICT COURT CLOSED TOMORROW, FEBRUARY 14 DUE TO LEAKS
The Administrative Office of the District Court announced today that the East Brookfield District Court will be closed tomorrow, February 14, 2008, due to leaks in the building’s roof caused by heavy snow and rain. Accordingly, instructions from the District Court Department are as follows:
The cases of any criminal defendant in custody will be heard in Worcester District Court tomorrow.
All other cases scheduled for court tomorrow are continued for one week to February 21, 2008.
Jurors are not to report to East Brookfield District Court for jury duty.
Individuals seeking a restraining order may call their local police department for instructions or report to the Worcester District Court.
Court employees are to report to work at the District Court closest to their homes.
