CENTRAL DIVISION OF THE BOSTON MUNICIPAL COURT,
SUFFOLK SUPERIOR COURT AND ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICES
TO RELOCATE
Boston, MA --- The Central Division and the Administrative Office of the Boston Municipal Court will relocate from the John W. McCormack Courthouse to the Edward W. Brooke Courthouse at 24 New Chardon Street from Thursday, March 17 through Sunday, March 20, 2005. On Monday, March 21, the Court and office will open for business in the Edward W. Brooke Courthouse.
The relocation of the Superior Court Administrative Office and the Suffolk County Superior Court to the newly refurbished Suffolk County Courthouse at Three Pemberton Square involves two phases. The Suffolk County Superior Court for Criminal Business and the Suffolk County Superior Court Probation Office will move during the weekend of April 2 and April 3, and will open for business on Monday, April 4, 2005. The following weekend, April 9 and April 10, the Suffolk County Superior Court for Civil Business and the Administrative Office of the Superior Court will move to the Suffolk County Courthouse, and open for business on Monday, April 11.
The courts are moving from the John W. McCormack Courthouse because the six-year lease of the Administrative Office of the Trial Court and the Division of Capital Asset Management with the U.S. General Services Administration expires in April.
Telephone and facsimile numbers for both courts will remain the same. The new mailing addresses for the courts are:
