NEW ENGLAND CHIEF JUSTICES TO JOHN ADAMS COURTHOUSE
Boston, MA --
The Chief Justices from the Supreme Courts of Connecticut,
Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont visited Massachusetts
Supreme Judicial Court Chief Justice Margaret H. Marshall
on March 17 at the John Adams Courthouse. Following
informal meetings, the Chief Justices toured the historic
courthouse, which opened in January and will be dedicated
in a ceremony on March 31, 2005.
On
the second floor of the John Adams Courthouse with
the entrance to the Supreme Judicial Court in the background
are: (from left) Vermont Supreme Court Chief Justice
Paul L. Reiber, Chief Justice Marshall, Maine Supreme
Judicial Court Chief Justice Leigh Ingalls Saufley,
New Hampshire Supreme Court Chief Justice John T. Broderick,
Jr., and Connecticut Supreme Court Chief Justice William
J. Sullivan.
