American Field
Service Students Visit
Supreme Judicial Court
Boston, MA-Fifteen high school students
from South America, Russia, Italy, Thailand, Turkey, and
the Ukraine visited the Supreme Judicial Court on April
8 as part of an American Field Service program that teaches
students about American government and culture.The students observed oral arguments in the
Supreme Judicial Court Courtroom, met with Assistant Clerk
for the Commonwealth Jane Kenworthy Lewis (pictured above),
toured the Court, and participated in discussions with staff
members.
Established in 1947, the American Field
Service exchange program is an international, non-profit
organization that provides intercultural learning opportunities.
