Fairness in the Massachusetts Trial Court”
The Supreme Judicial Court and the Administrative Office of the Trial are hosting a Symposium to reflect on the courts’ accomplishments since the 1994 release of the Report, Equal Justice: Eliminating the Barriers, and to discuss current issues in an effort to ensure racial and ethnic fairness in the courts. Issues for discussion will focus on employment, interpreter services, jury, and sentencing with the purpose of proposing strategies to address those issues. Panel participants will include members of the Trial Court’s Race and Ethnic Advisory Board.
