The Attleboro District Court and Juvenile Court will continue to be closed for the next two weeks while repairs to the building are made after a fire occurred in the North Main Street courthouse early Monday morning, May 18. Attleboro District Court business will continue to be conducted in the Taunton District Court. Attleboro Juvenile Court business will be conducted in Taunton Juvenile Court. A fire restoration company is cleaning and repairing the damaged areas of the courthouse.

           The Taunton Juvenile Court is located in the same building as the Taunton Superior Court, 9 Court Street in Taunton. The telephone number is 508-824-0609.

           The Attleboro District Court and Juvenile Court judges and personnel appreciate the rapid response and work of the Attleboro Fire Department as well as the support and cooperation of the judges and employees in the Taunton courts.
