Eighteen
"unsung heroes" of the Massachusetts Trial
Court will be honored
for their outstanding work in serving the public and
the courts.
Chief Justice for Administration and Management Barbara
A. Dortch-Okara
will present the awards to the Trial Court Employee
of the Year and the
seventeen recipients of the Trial Court Employee Excellence
Awards.
The
Trial Court Employee of the Year is Phyllis Ainsworth-Okamura,
Assistant Chief Court Officer in the Springfield Hall
of Justice complex.
Since 1987, the Administrative Office
of the Trial Court has presented
exceptional employees with these awards in recognition
of their high
professional standards and commitment to public service.
There are
approximately 7,000 employees in the Trial Court at
132 courthouses and
offices statewide.
