A new Worcester Trial Court, the largest court facility in the Commonwealth, will be built in downtown Worcester. The five-story courthouse will house the Worcester District Court, Worcester Housing Court, Worcester Juvenile Court, Worcester Probate and Family Court, and Worcester Superior Court. It will contain 26 courtrooms, grand jury room, offices, public transaction areas, hearing rooms, public lobbies, and secure holding areas. The courthouse is scheduled for completion in 2007.
