Chief Justice Margaret H. Marshall will present her Annual Address to the Legal Community at the second Bench-Bar Symposium sponsored by the Massachusetts Bar Association.
Among the topics that will be addressed are the judicial management initiatives transforming the courts and their impact on the bar and public; technological improvements to strengthen court performance and accountability; and the importance of bench-bar communication and partnerships to foster innovative thinking and action in meeting society’s needs and interests.
Following Chief Justice
Marshall’s Annual Address, a distinguished panel of Superior Court judges
and lawyers will discuss jury communication issues, including jury selection,
instruction, and post-trial contact. The panelists are:
