Hon. Phillip
Rapoza will be sworn in as the fifth Chief Justice
of the Massachusetts Appeals Court when Governor
Mitt Romney administers the oath of office in a public
ceremony to be held in the House Chamber of the State
House. Justice Rapoza is presently an Associate Justice
of the Appeals Court. Former Appeals Court Justice
George Jacobs will serve as Master of Ceremonies.
The event will be convened by State Representative
Robert Correia of Fall River.
