A new Fall River Trial
Court will be built in downtown Fall River. The modern,
five-story structure will house the Fall River District
Court and Bristol County Superior Court criminal
sessions. Scheduled for completion in fall 2009,
the
courthouse will contain nine courtrooms filled with natural light and will
feature state-of-the-art security and technology systems. The new building
will replace outmoded facilities, which are inadequate to serve the public’s
needs.
Chief Justice for Administration and Management Robert A. Mulligan will serve
as master of ceremonies for the event.
