Probation
Employee Recognition Ceremony Planned for May 16th
At Statehouse: Nomination Process Has Begun
Note: Any
Trial Court employee may nominate a Probation employee
for this award.
The Office of the Commissioner of Probation
will host its sixth annual Probation Employee Recognition
Ceremony on Friday, May 16th, at the Massachusetts State
House.
This year's ceremony will mark the second
annual presentation of the Kevin Duggan Community Service
Award named in honor of the former Statewide Supervisor
of the Massachusetts Trial Court Community Service Program.
Duggan passed away in June 2006. The recipient or recipients
of this award will be chosen by a selection committee
prior to the Probation Employee Recognition Ceremony.
Probation employees to be considered for
a Probation Employee Recognition Award must be nominated
by a Trial Court employee.
First Assistant Chief Probation Officers,
Assistant Chief Probation Officers, Probation Officers,
Associate Probation Officers and Support Staff employees
are eligible for recognition.
Probation employees to be considered for
honors are those who:
- Routinely go beyond
the call of duty.
- Make a positive
impact in the court and in the community.
- Perform their
duties in an exemplary manner.
- Present creative
ideas.
- Represent the
best of the organization.
Trial Court employees nominating an employee
or employees must submit a one-page summary about the
employee which includes detailed information on why this
person should be recognized . Submissions may be faxed
to 617-727-0316 or sent via email to coria.holland@jud.state.ma.us.
The submission deadline for nominations
is Friday, February 29, 2008.
