2005 PROBATION EMPLOYEE RECOGNITION AWARD
HONOREES ARE SELECTED

 

The winners of the 2005 Probation Employee Recognition Awards have been chosen. The 11 probation officers and 10 support staff employees from across the state will be honored at a special ceremony in the Great Hall of the Massachusetts State House on Friday, April 1st.

 

Honorees are being acknowledged for their exemplary work in the community and in the Massachusetts Probation Service.

 

"The probation officers and support staff we are honoring represent the mission of our agency. They are all deserving of this acknowledgement of their extraordinary efforts."

 

Probation Officer honorees include Brendan M. Lucey of Barnstable Superior Court in Barnstable County; Randall J. Draper of Berkshire Probate & Family Court in Berkshire County; Donald J. Chausse of New Bedford District Court in Bristol County; Steven Sliwoski of Essex Probate & Family Court in Essex County; Robert K.Brown of Greenfield District Court in Franklin/Hampshire counties; Patrick E.Shea of Hampden Superior Court in Hampden County; Susan G. Reed of Ayer District Court in Middlesex County; Susan Hart of Quincy District Court in Norfolk County; Barbara Somerville of Hingham District Court in Plymouth County; Stephen Deluca of Charlestown District Court in Suffolk County; and Wendy A. Pelchat of Westboro District Court in Worcester County.

 

Support staff being honored are Susan Prisco of Falmouth District in Barnstable County; Janice M. Gauvin of Bristol Superior in Bristol County; Julie Ann Gilligan of Ipswich District Court of Essex County; Jean M. Howe of Greenfield District of Franklin/Hampshire counties; Evelyn Medina of Springfield District of Hampden County; Kathleen Cashton of Middlesex Juvenile of Middlesex County; Mary Ellen Shippey of Norfolk Superior of Norfolk County; Joanne Downey of Plymouth Juvenile and Antoinette Pina of Wareham District Court of Plymouth County; and Lisa Bousquet of Westborough District of Worcester County.
