NEW
BEDFORD DISTRICT COURT EMPLOYEES ASSIST COLLEAGUE
WHOSE
HOME IS DESTROYED BY FIRE AND INVITE
OTHERS TO DO THE SAME
A New Bedford District Court Probation employee,
her husband, and her son, who works for the Bristol County
Community Corrections Center, returned home to find their
home destroyed by a fire. An electrical surge ignited their
property.
"The fire occurred when no one was home and
luckily there were no injuries. Unfortunately, the family
lost everything," said New Bedford District Court Acting
Chief Probation Officer Barry Williams.
Williams and the employees in his court are
encouraging donations of clothing and household items for
this family.
