Lawyer for a Day Programs in the Probate and Family Court provide basic legal advice, help you understand relevant laws and your rights, and assist you in filling out court forms. They do not go with you into the courtroom, but can equip you to better represent yourself in court.

The program calls the client the day before to confirm the appointment. They check for conflicts of interest. Clients can be waitlisted, but they try to limit the client visits to once every 6 months.
