Commonwealth v. A.I. & A.W., juveniles
Whether the Lowell Youth Protection Curfew for Minors violates the equal protection rights of juveniles by subjecting them to restrictions on their movements and travel that do not apply to older persons; what is the appropriate standard in considering an equal protection challenge to the curfew.

Parties filing amicus briefs are expected to comply with the requirements of Rules 17, 19 and 20 of Mass. Rules of Appellate Procedure. Amicus briefs, to assist the court, should focus on the ramifications of a decision and not solely on the interests of the parties filing such briefs.
