Whether a voluntary acknowledgment of parentage executed by the child's mother and putative father was void ab initio, in circumstances in which the mother was married to another man at the time she executed the acknowledgment and she and her husband had not signed affidavits denying the husband's paternity of the child; whether the child has standing to contest paternity in the circumstances.

Parties filing amicus briefs are expected to comply with the requirements of Rules 17, 19 and 20 of Mass. Rules of Appellate Procedure. Amicus briefs, to assist the court, should focus on the ramifications of a decision and not solely on the interests of the parties filing such briefs.
