The Massachusetts Code of Judicial Conduct, which can be found in S.J.C. Rule 3:09, was substantially rewritten effective October 1, 2003. Links to the text of the Code, both before and after its revision, appear below. The Disposition Table and the Derivation Table correlate the provisions of the earlier version of the Code and the revised, current version. Finally, the Code by Code Comparison shows side-by-side the language of each provision of the new Code and the cognate language (if any) in the old Code.

The Committee was established by S.J.C. Rule 3:11 and is governed by that rule and by its own set of internal rules, links to which are also provided below:
