Proposed Order Establishing a Modified Procedure for Appeals in Bar Discipline Cases

The Supreme Judicial Court invites comments on the enclosed proposed Order Establishing a Modified Procedure for Appeals in Bar Discipline Cases 
. The Order is intended to expedite the resolution of bar discipline appeals by instituting a modified procedure for appeals from decisions of a Single Justice. The modified procedure, as described below, would be implemented in a two year pilot program.
Comments on the proposed Order should be directed to Christine P. Burak, Supreme Judicial Court, John Adams Courthouse, One Pemberton Square, Boston MA 02108 on or before February 25, 2009. Comments may also be sent to christine.burak@sjc.state.ma.us.
