Strategic Planning Sessions Held in Five Courthouses
Close to 400 court staff participated in the information sessions held last week in Boston, Plymouth, Salem, Springfield and Worcester to raise awareness and answer questions on the Court’s strategic planning initiative.
Chief Justices Roderick Ireland and Robert Mulligan, along with Supreme Judicial Court Justices Robert Cordy and Francis Spina highlighted the critical nature of this planning effort and explained the rationale for embarking on a planning process at this challenging time.
Members of the planning facilitation team from the Mass. Office of Public Collaboration explained the concept of strategic planning and reviewed how the process will move forward in the courts. The powerpoint presentation used by the presenters is at the link above.
Employees in attendance asked a number of thoughtful questions. Those questions are being compiled and will be posted on the Trial Court site focused on strategic planning: www.mass.gov/courts/strategicplanning.
