Boat pumpout facilities provide a convenient way to properly dispose of boat sewage. Many of the more than 100 pumpouts in Massachusetts are pumpout boats. These vessels have the capacity to bring the pumpout to the boater, providing added convenience. Lists of pumpouts for the entire coast or organized by coastal region, are linked below. An interactive GoogleTM Map is also available that displays pumpout locations along the Commonwealth's coast.

In addition, the Clean Vessel Act Program produces a wallet-sized Boaters Pocket Guide to Pumpout Facilities and Tides, which is printed on water-proof paper and contains pumpout information and a tide chart for Massachusetts.
