February 6 and 7 mark the 25th Anniversary of the Blizzard of '78. Arguably the Commonwealth's "Storm of the Century," the blizzard dumped 27.1 inches of snow on Boston, paralyzing the city and surrounding suburbs for a week. Although snow was less of an issue along the immediate coast, the tides were devastating.
