Boat pumpout facilities provide a convenient way to properly dispose of boat sewage. Many of the more than 100 pumpouts in Massachusetts are pumpout boats. These vessels have the capacity to bring the pumpout to the boater, providing added convenience.

Each year, CZM and the Clean Vessel Act Program produce a wallet-sized Boaters' Guide to Tide and Pumpout Facilities, which is printed on water-proof paper and contains pumpout information and a tide chart for Massachusetts. To get a copy, email your request and mailing address to czm@state.ma.us. A list of pumpouts, organized by coastal region, is linked below. An interactive Google^TM Map is also available that displays pumpout locations along the Commonwealth's coast.
