Massachusetts Institute of Technology Sea Grant Program's Grants for Education in Marine Science The Grants for Education in Marine Science (GEMS) program is funded by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Sea Grant Program. Funds offered through this competitive program are aimed at providing supplemental financial resources to Massachusetts students and educators interested in marine science by promoting new, collaborative approaches to education beyond textbooks.
