New England Aquarium's Professional Development

The Aquarium offers an extensive array of professional opportunities for teachers, ranging from scheduled workshops to custom designed in-services to suit exact program needs. Programs include Teacher Orientation to Aquarium Resources and Teacher Workshops such as Classroom Aquarium Setup and Standards-Based Learning (Grades K-12); Planning a Coastal Field Trip: Secrets to Seaside Success (Grades 3-12); and MITS Summer Teacher Institute.
