New England Aquarium's Teacher Resource Center
The Teacher Resource Center (TRC) helps educators meet their aquatic and ocean education needs, promoting an interdisciplinary approach to environmental and place-based education as part of the Aquarium's mission to preserve, promote, and protect the world of water. Today, the TRC serves nearly 3,000 educators a year, including teachers from the preK-12 community, home schoolers, park rangers, camp counselors and other out-of-school instructors, from New England and beyond, providing free individualized consultation and access to one of the largest curriculum collections in the region. In addition, at TRC educators can prepare for an Aquarium field trip, photocopy classroom activities, make connections between Aquarium resources and state/national standards, and sign up for a teacher workshop.
