Sea Turtle Rescue Festival Staff and volunteers at the Nature Center at Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary rescue cold-stunned sea turtles every fall as the temperature in Cape Cod Bay drops. Last year there were 200 strandings, including Kemp's ridley turtles, loggerheads, green turtles, and hybrids. The festival includes sea turtle talks, exhibits, and naturalist-led walks, as well as activities and projects for kids. Everything is included in the price of Sanctuary admission, and free for MassAudubon members. Contact Information
