Twenty-one comments were received via email regarding the publication of the Draft Plan. The comment summary below captures the nature of comments received and indicates how the information was used.

General Positive / Complimentary Comments on Draft Plan: 13
In general, the respondents stated the Plan will be valuable for identifying and planning restoration in their communities. They indicated the value of having the information easily accessible.

Site Specific Comments: 16
Some landowners and others familiar with sites contacted us and provided more information or clarification on site conditions and other site aspects. In some cases, site specific concerns were shared. In such instances, the information/comment received is acknowledged in the respective site description.

New site Recommendation Comments: 3
Information submitted for potential new sites was reviewed and will be followed up with site visits and further discussions as appropriate.

Technical (website compatibility) issues/format Comments: 5
Additional instructions were provided to the commenter and/or edits were made to improve the website.

Town Creek, Salisbury
High Priority Potential Restoration A small culvert under an abandonded railway impedes tidal flow to upstream extents of Town Creek, a tributary of the Merrimack River. The surrounding marsh is extremely degraded and dominated by invasive common reed ( Phragmites australis).
Wingaersheek Beach, Gloucester
High Priority Potential Restoration Approximately 25 acres of former marsh behind the barrier beach was historically filled with dredge spoils and altered.
