WRP supports a wide variety of restoration projects and has helped people restore hundreds of acres of degraded and destroyed wetlands across Massachusetts. In short, the program serves as a facilitator of restoration -- working to identify new projects, organize project teams, provide technical assistance, secure project funding, and help manage and coordinate restoration activities from start to finish. Projects for which restoration acreage can not be determined at this time (e.g., invasive species bio-control sites) are not included. Active projects include all sites known to WRP that are currently in the feasibility, design, permitting, or construction phase of project development.
