NORFOLK COUNTY SUMMER ASSOCIATE PROGRAM

February 1, 2013, is the deadline for submission of applications
for the Norfolk District Attorney’s Summer Associate Program

District Attorney Michael W. Morrissey is pleased to offer a 2013 Summer Associate Program.  This year, the internship will commence on Monday, June 3, and will end on Friday, July 26.  The program’s hours are 8:30am-4:30pm, Monday through Friday, and it is a volunteer position.  To qualify as a participant, you must be a matriculating college or law school student.  We encourage SJC Rule 3:03 eligible students to apply for a summer associate position which allows for courtroom participation in one of our 5 district courts.

Once your resume is received, an application will be e-mailed to you.  Upon receiving your completed application, an interview may be scheduled during the month of February.

Please note that there are limited openings available this year.  Please be sure to have your resume and cover letter postmarked no later than February 1, 2013.  After this date, resumes will not be accepted. 

Offers will be extended prior to March 15, 2013.
