The Boys & Girls Club of Brockton
provides a Safe Haven for the Weed & Seed initiative.


Boys and Girls Club

The Club is open every afternoon after school. Children ages 6-18 can come in and self-select from a variety of age appropriate programs. Children can participate in programs at the main club at 233 Warren Avenue as well as he designated Safe Haven neighborhood sites.

There is something for everyone at the Boys & Girls Club.

Our daily Power Hour program makes homework fun. Children can earn Power Points every time they complete an assignment or bring up their grades. The points are redeemable for prizes and field trips.

In our computer center kids learn how to make movies, write music, graphic design and digital photography.

Through Arts and Crafts youth explore a variety of medium including drawing, painting, paper mache, and more.

Sports and Fitness activities include basketball, soccer, flag football, cheerleading, open gym, double dutch, karate and lots of other competitive and non-competitive fitness activities.

The Games Room is always open. There are lots of board games, pool, foosball, air hockey and ping pong.

Our Keystone and Torch youth service clubs are always on the go. Together club members participate in all sorts of activities to serve their club and community. Recent events include participation in the AIDS Walk and a Halloween Dance to benefit hurricane victims.
