THREE ARRAIGNED, CHARGED WITH DORCHESTER TEEN’S MURDER April 30, 2008 Three Dorchester men were arraigned in Suffolk Superior Court this afternoon and charged with first-degree murder for their role in the vicious fatal stabbing of 16-year-old Terrance Jacobs last year, Suffolk County District Attorney Daniel F. Conley announced. Assistant District Attorney Mark Hallal recommended that ADMILSON VIZCAINO, 16 (D.O.B. 8/23/91), TERRANCE PABON, 18 (D.O.B. 1/22/90), and PAUL GOODE, a.k.a. PAUL JONES, 25 (D.O.B. 1/9/83), all be held without bail; Superior Court Clerk Magistrate Connie Wong granted that request and scheduled the next court date for May 22. A total of six men are facing charges in connection with the victim’s May 22, 2007 death. Two men - RICHARD ALLEN, 20 (D.O.B. 3/23/87), of Dorchester faces a charge of accessory before the fact, and MARKEESE MITCHELL, 16 (D.O.B. 4/9/91), of Brockton who faces a first-degree murder charge - are both expected to be arraigned in Superior Court on May 8. The sixth suspect, PEDRO ORTIZ, 28 (D.O.B. 8/8/79), of Dorchester, is also charged with first-degree murder and remains at large. Five of the six defendants were taken into custody throughout the day and night of Feb. 29, when Boston Police homicide detectives and multiple specialized Boston Police units executed warrants for their arrests. Those warrants were based on evidence developed in the course of a complex and far-reaching investigation of the Suffolk County Special Grand Jury. Today in court, Hallal said that a few months prior to the stabbing, Jacobs had been involved in a dispute with a teen who was associated with the co-defendants. Evidence suggests that sometime around 7 p.m. on the evening of May 22, the co-defendants told Jacobs’ friends to bring him to the area of Havelock and Wilcox Streets to confront him about the prior dispute. Jacobs’ friends, including Allen, obliged and brought him to the area with the intention of having a fair fight. After arriving there, Jacobs was quickly surrounded by the group and beaten, before breaking free and running into traffic on Blue Hill Avenue. Evidence suggests that the co-defendants chased him back onto Havelock street, where he was thrown on the street and stabbed approximately 20 times. Boston Police and emergency medical technicians responded to the area of Havelock Street and Blue Hill Avenue shortly before 8:00 to find Jacobs suffering from multiple stab wounds. The victim was rushed to Boston Medical Center, where doctors pronounced him dead of his injuries. Vizcaino is represented by attorney Jonathan Shapiro; Pabon is represented by attorney Stephen Neyman; and Goode is represented by attorney Scott Curtis.
