Welcome to the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office's Web site.

Our goal in creating this site was to establish a resource guide for all citizens of Suffolk County, and especially for those who have been victimized by crime, or those whose loved ones or friends have been victimized. Inside this site, you'll find a description of our mission, updates on our various community partnerships and outreach efforts, news about recent cases, and information about how to get help if you or someone you know is a victim of crime. You will also find important contact information, which will enable you to call us to report crime or public safety problems, or to let us know how you believe we can better fulfill our mission of prosecuting criminals, helping victims, and preventing further crime. In short, this is not just our Web site -- it is your Web site, because this is your District Attorney's Office, and we are here to serve you.

Please bear in mind that this site, which has been redesigned by Suffolk District Attorney staff members, is a work in progress. We will strive to continually update the site to make it more responsive to you, our citizens. If you require further information about a topic covered on this site, or if you have questions that this site does not answer, please call and let us know.

Our office, under the direction of District Attorney Daniel F. Conley, handles approximately 50,000 criminal cases a year in Suffolk Superior Court, eight district courts located throughout the county, Boston Municipal Court, and Boston Juvenile Court. Our main office is at One Bulfinch Place in downtown Boston. With approximately 250 employees, including about 120 lawyers, we are the largest and busiest district attorney's office in New England. But as you'll learn as you navigate through this site, we do more than prosecute cases. We offer a wide range of additional services and programs to help victims and witnesses of crime, and to educate the public about important crime prevention and safety issues. Please take a few minutes to familiarize yourself with our mission.
