  1. How can I get a hearing?

Many state agency rules allow a person who wishes to appeal an action of the agency to request a hearing. The request must be addressed as directed by the agency. In some cases, the appeal will be directly to DALA. In other cases the appeal will be to the agency. If directed to the agency, the agency will direct the appeal to DALA. DALA is responsible for scheduling and conducting the hearing, and issuing a decision.
