  1. Who is involved in the hearing?

DALA Administrative Magistrates are appointed by the Chief Administrative Magistrate to conduct the hearings. There are at least two parties in an administrative hearing. One party is a state agency or other governmental unit, and the other party may be a person, a business or other organization.

An attorney, a friend, relative or someone else who is not an attorney may represent a party.
