The Family Protection Division
is located at 231 Main Street, Brockton, MA 02301
This Division has been structured into 3 separate units to protect all members of our families, particularly the children and elders. A special team of prosecutors and advocates work closely with the police and community agencies to address the special needs of the victims of family violence.
The Units are dedicated to the safety and well-being of the families of Plymouth County.
The most precious thing to all of us is our family. Often the most vulnerable in our society become victims.
It is difficult to learn that loved ones are, and do become victims. The form that victimization takes is many: babies are shaken, children are abused and/or neglected, teens become the victims of Internet predators and elders are frequent targets of financial scams and caretaker violence.
Through community education and awareness we are able to limit the victimization of loved ones. The standard of our Family Protection Division is one that demands the sensitive, caring and discrete handling of these matters, allowing families to maintain their dignity and, at the same time, provide the highest quality of public safety.
