The Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation urges all of its licensees, from large financial institutions to small businesses and sole-proprietors, to develop appropriate cybersecurity plans, implement them, and test and update them regularly. The Office also recommends that its licensees be aware that any third-party vendors with whom they contract also have appropriate cybersecurity protocols for the size of their businesses and the extent to which they have access to customers' personal information. For both businesses and consumers, the Office endorses consultation with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's 'Stop. Think. Connect.' cybersecurity tool-kits for a variety of audiences.
