Watson Pond State Park

Watson Pond State Park is a beautiful 10 acre park in Taunton.  Operated seasonally, it offers swimming and picnicking.  Amenities include a 300’ beach, a picnic area, a bath house and a small pavilion.  Easy access from Rte. 495 makes it a popular park for families and groups.

Hours: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
$5.00 parking fee
Season facility: Late May – Early September

 

Park Directions

From Boston: Take Rte 24 south, toward Brockton.  Merge onto I-495 north to exit 9, Bay St..  Turn left on Bay Street.  Park entrance will be approximately 1 mile further, on the right. From New Bedford: Take Rte 140 north to Rte 24 north to I-495 north to exit 9, Bay St.  Turn left on Bay Street. Park entrance will be approximately 1 mile further, on the right.

From Providence/Attleboro: Take I-95 north to I-495 south to exit 9, Bay St.  Bear right onto Bay St.  Park entrance will be approximately 1 mile further, on the right.
